My name is Annika Barranti. I'm the moderator for wikiPregnancy. I live in Los Angeles and gave birth to my first baby, Sam, in May.

I've been working with wetpaint on wikiPregnancy since February. I edited most of the content and wrote some of it. I am really excited to see the site grow as people add information and experiences. A resource like this site is as good as the people adding to it. We can make this the best pregnancy site there is.

If you have any wants, needs, or concerns about the site, get in touch! You can leave a comment on any page, including this one. I read every contribution, question, and suggestion and will respond as fast as I can.

I had my first baby Feb. 5 2006. I had just turned 38 when I got pregnant, and was still 38 when he was born. In Georgia (USA), this pregnancy was considered "high risk" for the first 20 weeks of the pregnancy, then I was released from the high risk doctor.
