My husband and I are trying to have a baby, however I am deemed to doctors as obese. We are desperate to have a child but my family are concerned that there maybe complications along the way. I've read up on subjects such as gestational diabetes, but I would really love to hear from people who have actually been there and had a baby or are currently pregnant and are in the same position as me. Thank you x

Hi guys! I am 25 years old and 295 lbs. I have been married for 6 years and I have never prevented pregnancy, but I havent been able to get pregnant. I feel that I am destined to be a mommy. When I got married I was weighing 180 lbs 5 months later we moved and I was away from my family and I lost my appetite and I just simply couldnt eat. I forced mu self to eat at least once a day and still instead of loosing weght I gsined 120 lbs! 6 months ago I weny to gyn and I was diagnosed with pcos. I was put on birth control to regulate my period because i went 3 years without having my period. She refered me to another dr who prescribed metformin, unfortunately I didnt like the dr, I finished my rx and never went in to get anymore. The metformin actualy was starting to help. Altough I know the risks of getting ptegnant while obese I still want to try. Im going to ask my gyn for metformin and im going to try losing some weight and to conceive as well. I have been researching ways to help get pregnant and I liked the advice I got on this website: lumalovegettingpregnant.com, I eill also try snd keep updating to let everone know how things are going. I wish the best of luck to all!
Ps if anyone has any questions or other advice/info please reply!

I had a miscarriage (brought on by medication, because it didnt happen naturally) on September 29th. I had heavy bleeding for 2 weeks. I started my first period on October 21st it lasted the typical 6 days for me and seemed completely normal. On November 3rd i started spotting light brown discharge that turned into pink than red and it was never heavy enough to even need a tampon or pad. It occaisonally got heavier but never that bad. It stopped on November 20th but soon started back up and it didnt officially stop until December 3rd.
But the thing is.... i started seeing breast changes, i just knew i'd be getting my period but for some reason i decided to take a pregnancy test on December 12th or 13th. Which it came out negative. On the 15th i took another one and it came out a very faith positive, but my period still wasnt due for another 5 days, so i went a bought the first response tests that tell you 6 days before missed period and i got two very dark clearlyyyy positive test. Now, i'm having cramping in my tummy and back and im eating a lot more and my boobies are HUGE. I know im pregnant, i'm just so confused on when i got pregnant if i never had a period... and spotted for 4 weeks straight.
I had sex on the 20th and the 27th, but if i got pregnant on those days why was i still spotting and how could i of ovulated..
I'm making an appointment tomorrow, so hopefully they can tell me more!
JUST SO STRESSFUL! and im terrfied of another miscarriage /:

Me and my boyfriend have a beautiful 18 month old little boy but we would like to make a new addition to our family in the next 2 years. I had a complicated pregnancy and birth with my little one and my body still has not quite recovered. I am still really big and cant seem to shift the baby weight. I want to do everything I can to avoid having complications next time so I know I need to lose the weight but I don't know how much I need to lose. I am a bit scared about having another one which is why im asking for help. I desperately want another child for my little boy and both me and my partner are really hoping for a daughter so any tips in how to make our dream come true will be greatly appreciated

This is the second day that I am late. I.have taken a test 4days ago it was nege I tend to sleep early, throw up after eating, I have impigments in my skin right under my breast that itches terribly, just about everything irritates me, I have a white discharge that faithfully shows up everyday. Someone help!!!!!

my boyfriend and i had sex on saturday. we did not use a condom or anything. I am on birth control and have have not missed taking it in the past 2 weeks. But when we had sex my boyfriend came in me and the same night and sunday night i took the pill late. i got a little period on monday and tuesday (today). Could i be pregnant?

I had an abortion June 3, 2011 big mistake. My period came on July 15, 2011 and again on August 18, 2011 and me and my Fiance had sex August 23 a day after my period and he ejaculated all in me. September 6 clear sticky mucus was coming out of me. I've been working but now I'm having major lower back pains and i always be sleepy, but I don't know if its the job doing this. Can I be pregnant

im 15 and soon to be sophmore... so on may 23rd me and my boyfriend had un-protected sex, he pulled out im not sure if there was pre-*** or not... i was supposed to start may 30th but it was late and ended up starting june 4th i just thought it was due to stress because i had finals that week... but now my back has been hurting and ive been having a ton of headaches and i was supposed to start my period july 4th and its usually never irregular... i havent been stressed at all lately so im starting to think back, could i be pregnant????

i am 5'3 and about 245lbs. Me and my husband has tryed to get pregnant in the past but i didn't happen for us. so i got to thiinkin maybe it's because i am over weight but then again there are other girls my size that can get pregnant so i realy don't know wat to do cause i won't to have a baby so bad. I have always wonted a family. It makes me up set not knowing if i can get pregnant it hurts. i was only on the pill for maybe two months but that's been a year ago. so i was hopin maybe someone could give me some edivice that has been were i am at today.

Hello, I know exactly how you feel. I am 5'5 and weigh 250lbs. 24 years old. My husband and I have been trying for 3 years. I have finally found a doctor who is taking time with me to help me. I have pcos it is hard for me to lose weight but I have been doing a low carb diet and have lost 8lbs in 6 days. I am hoping to contuine with weight loss and praying we get pregnant. Everyone is diffrent you need to talk to your doctor and see what they can do for you.

I been getting headache for the past two weeks. This happen around noon and something in the evening. I also feel sick when I smell something strong or is very sensitive to perfume so i stop putting some on. But I been eating a lot and it kind of make my headache go away. I am worried. I'm suppose to start my period in 2 days but I been cramping a lot for the past 2 days in the morning and this would continue through the day. Today I feel like i'm on my period but i'm not. Usually I would know when i would start my period because I would starts seeing brown spots until my period day but i'm not seeing it this time. Please help me before I starts going crazy. Thanks.!
