It is so important to talk to your baby in it's first year of life as much as possible to give your baby the building blocks for communication. A great way to increase the amount of verbal stimulation your baby gets is to carry your baby in a Baby Bjornsling or other "frontpack" (such as the Baby Bjorn) as opposed to in a stroller. When your baby is right up near your head, it reminds you that you can continuously be talking to your baby and pointing things out. In a stroller, it is much more difficult to contantly talk to your baby. Take advantage of the times you and your baby are walking together to develop his/her communication skills by carrying him/her inhim aor Bjorn!her!
