hello im new to this but im 23 i have one child already and my husband and i have been trying for about five months and still no luck. this month i am 2 days late and i have been experiencing a few cramps. nowhere as painful as normal but i feel it may just be wishful thinking. i took a test today it was negative. any comments?

YES you could be.Im in the same boat that you are.I was suppose to get mine around the same time as yours.Sore nipples,cramping,pains in ovary areas and water like discharge.scary! But when you went 2 the drs did they give u a pregnancy test?have you done any at home?you have quite a few ps missy.if you did go to the dr,they did the pap smear,it could of been to early for them to even have noticed.noticeable vessels arent usually that visible until weeks after conception.i would tell you to take an at home test,but the false negatives might get you down.i know thats what happend to me.but i think theres a good chance you could be prego.so maybe just wait another week or two to take hpt.or,make a dr appt and get a blood pregnancy test done.theyre more accurate.good luck

the cramping COULD be implantation cramps. just wait a little bit longer to take the test.... they say if youre 2 weeks late.. thats when you can start to wonder... weather your periods are usually on time or not... mine used to always be on the dot.. but.. as i got older.. they changed.... so either.... dont worry... or dont get hopeful just yet :)

i think you can take a pregnancy test after 2 weeks yah may be your pregnant.. you have the signs

Well, first of all- your question is more technical based- although I'm sure you worry about what people think about you. You obviousely know how young you are and that this is a seriouse situation on an emotional level, so let me start out on the technical aspects.

Women tend to ovulate about two weeks after the first day of their last menstrual period, give or atake a few days and also depending on if you have a regular 28 day cycle.
Even if you had intercourse before you were ovulating, sperm can live at least 24 hours, so you can literally get pregnant the next day if he ejaculated inside of you if you release an egg the next day. So the answer is yes, if you have had sex, there is always a possibility you can get pregnant, even while using protection.

There are lots of great resources online to find out about early sexual relationships, such as yours. As a young adult, I hope that you have also prepared yourself with knowledge about the responsibilities that come along with being a young adult in an intimate relationship.

When you are 13 yrs old, you havent reached physical maturity that a lot of ready mothers have already. Not only are you still physically growing with your bones, and organs, but your brain is still developing the important areas that control responsilbility and response to social issues.

So ultimately, this is the best time to figure out what you want out of life, and if what you are doing now will ultimately lead you in that direction. As a sexually active teenager, you automatically yearn to have what adults achieve in their relationships, in sexual form. The difference is that adults tend to have the resources available to handle the outcome. So please consider some resources so that you are informed when you do involve yourself intimately with a partner.

"I'm due for a period in two weeks time, but last week I began to get some very strange symptoms. It began by feeling dizzy and nauseaous at random times of the day, I've been very grumpy and hot. I've started to dry heave over the toilet and when I'm brushing my teeth. I'm having small cramps as if I'm about to come on and my breasts feel heavier. The nipples are more errect and sensitive. I'm constantly thirsty and as a result, running to the bathroom every couple of hours - usually I don't go for about 8! How soon can you tell if your pregnant? Am I just connecting random things? All the tests say its too soon for them to work for me. Would appriciate your comments and advice. Cheers!"

There is always a chance of pregnancy, especially if you did not take your pill properly. It's a low possibility, but a possibility nonetheless. You should call your doctor right away -- if you are pregnant and still taking the pill there could be complications. Good luck!
