i'm normally on time with my period but lately i have been irregular. a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and i were having sex and the condom broke i'm on the pill but i've heard people can still get pregnant while taking it. so i'm 3 days late and the only sign of my period is one day of cramps. but my boos hurt like heck and i've been very sleepy lately. i took a test but it came up negetive could it be wrong? i'm afraid to go to the doctor my boyfriend had already made it clear he never wants kids. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Okay so look, you also have to be aware that there could also be a couple of different factors playing into your 'pregnancy symptoms', alot of things could make you late on your period, STRESS (which from the condom breaking, could make it stressful), eating habits changing, rapid weight loss or weight gain, excerise... A number of things could contribute to it. What I do when I have a freak out (it's what I call them, because I have irregular periods) I wait 7 days. If I start feeling crampy then I figure I could probably just be stressed or doing something abnormal (try google.com and look up menstration symptoms), you'll notice that sometimes the symptoms are tricky and quite simular. Hope I could be of some help. If you don't have your period within 7 days, get a HPT (Home pregnancy test... they're not too expensive, or go to a PlannedParenthood/ Hope Pregnancy Center, or EVEN a Health Department and set up a free/confidential pregnancy test), if you don't want your boyfriend to know, take it and go from there. If he's not understanding, remind him it takes TWO to have sex and TWO to get pregnant! Good luck. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
