Irregular periods

Hi , I had sex with my girl friend with protection ,it was 3 months before ,after that her periods was not regular ,she is saying it was delayed and not regular .. she also said some bleeding is there ..so she is in strain .. so is't serious ..I am also feeling bad as she suffers due to this
