two weeks
Apr 24 2007, 2:54 AM EDT my period should be coming next week, and i happen to be having some constipation and bloating. can i be pregnant? and even though my period is coming in about a week and a half can i use an EPT test now to see if im pregnant or should i wait?? i am very nervous and do not want to go to a doctor right now. i cant wait.. will the test be accurate? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 24 2007, 12:53 PM EDT You probably won't get accurate results until at least the first day your period is due. Keep in mind that there are many possible reasons for constipation, and that the bloating might be related to your normal cycle or to the constipation. Eat lots of fiber till you're regular again (fruit, whole grains). Good luck! Do you find this valuable? |

May 24 2007, 11:03 AM EDT The constipation usually doesn't come until closer to the second trimester. I would wait til you miss a period to take a pregnancy test. Don't think too much about being pregnant because you may give yourself a chemical pregnancy which is where you think you are so you have all the symptoms but no baby... 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
