My period was due to come next week Monday, but it came this morning instead... About 2 weeks ago I did have unprotected sex with my boyfriend (yes... stupid thing to do...) and I haven't really felt like myself for the past little while. I have felt like I look heavier than normal despite the fact that my weight hasn't changed... My period started off the way it usually does, but it wasn't nearly as heavy as normal. I usually feel like I'm going to die of bloodloss or something but I didn't really feel that way today... I had my usual cramping, which was delightful... not really, and so now I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not.

I did have some light bleeding after sex that quickly went away and I've had light cramping every-so-often since then... Hm. I feel stupid and alone. Maybe I should just take a test to find out for sure. Any thoughts? Do you find this valuable?

If you have not yet gotten a regular (heavy) period, you may have been experiencing implantation spotting. I'd definitely suggest taking a pregnancy test, and seeing a doctor or midwife if it is positive OR if you do not get your period soon. Good luck! Do you find this valuable?
